Giving Hope Charity, started by Mount Vernon school staff in 2020 to support children and families during the pandemic, has been awarded a $5,000 Giving BACK Tuesday grant from the Knox County Foundation. The grant will help expand the charity’s mission of bringing joy and meaningful experiences to more children in Knox County through its holiday shopping events and other community programs.

2021 Mount Vernon Music and Arts Festival

Giving Hope Charity was featured running the KidZone at the Mount Vernon Music and Arts Festival. The KidZone was located near Paragraphs bookstore downtown. Over 3,000 kids and families came to have fun on the bounce house, get their hand painted, win prizes with corn hole and free giveaways.
